Do'Mone Rayshawn Bennett departed this life on Friday, January 2, 2015 at the age of 28. He was a native and resident of Marrero, LA. Do'Mone was a graduate of L. W. Higgins High School and University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Devoted father of Dylin and Kara Bennett. Beloved son of Donald and Ramona Bennett. Grandson of the late John and Edna Bennett, and Clyde, Sr. and Louella Rushing. Brother of Monica (Derrick) Brown and the late Marlon DeWayne Bennett. Companion of Treia Colomb. Nephew of Clarence Rushing, Ollie (Earl) Lawson, Veldena Moore, Clyde (Kathleen) Rushing, Jr., Billy Ray Bennett, and the late Joanne Henderson, Richard Bennett and Earl Lawson. Uncle of Yorel Brown, Kenishia McKee, Monae Brown, and the late Derrion Dondre' Brown; also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Temple of Praise Ministries, Rock of Ages Baptist Church, and all neighboring churches; employees of Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services, Jefferson Parish Recreation Department; members of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. and Pride of Waggaman Masonic Lodge #42 are invited to attend the funeral service at Rock of Ages Baptist Church 6533 Acre Rd.
