Cynthia M. "Sookie" Levy departed this life on Sunday, January 4, 2015 at Ochsner Medical Center Main Campus at the age of 63. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Terrytown, LA. Loving mother of Dana, Keisha and Clarence Sterling, Jr. and Glenn Levy. Grandmother of the late Domonique Sterling. Great grandmother of the late Robert Claiborne, Jr. Daughter of the late Charles Levy Sr. and Carrie Meggs Levy. Granddaughter of the late Alberta and George Levy, Ferdinand and Carrie Meggs. Sister of Larry Levy, Adell Foxworth, Alberta Levy, Lona Levy, Marietta L. Levy, Melissa Levy Butler and the late Charles Levy, Jr. Fiancée' of Freeman McQuarters; also survived by 14 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Gretna United Methodist Church and neighboring churches; members of L. B.
