Rev. Daniel Harris

Rev. Daniel Harris, Sr. age 91, peacefully entered into eternal rest at Bayside Nursing Home on Monday, January 5, 2015 at the 6:00a.m. He was a native of Raceland, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Beloved husband of the late Rosemary Armand-Harris. Devoted father of Brenda Harris-Cockaran, Terry, Carolyn, Betty, Robert, Benny Ray, and Kevin Harris and the late Henry Robert, and Daniel Harris, Jr., Barbara Ann Jenkins, Yvonne Harris-Cola, Diaine Harris and Linda Harris. Great grandfather of the late Kyndle Jasmaine Davis. Son of the late Eddie Harris, Sr. and Cecelia Noble-Harris. Brother of Selena Every, Celestine Campbell, Deloris Every and the late Eddie, Jr., Samual and Jacob Harris ,Elma Colar and Elnora Clark; also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also, pastors, officers and members of Holy Hill Baptist church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Holy Hill Baptist, 1409 Manhattan Blvd. Harvey, LA on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Leon Hannibal, Sr., officiating Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. unitl service time at the above named church.
