Ina Claire "Toni" Taylor Lawrence passed from this life into the presence of Our Lord at Interim LSU Hospital on Tuesday, January 6, 2015. Devoted wife of Sherman Lawrence, Sr. Loving mother of Sharon (Roderick Sr.) Watts, Sherman (Juana) Lawrence, Jr., Erin Lawrence, and Gina (Gilberto III ex.) Montanez. Daughter of the late Melvin and Enola McGinnis Taylor. Sister of Marguerite Robinson, Patricia (Joseph) Johnson, Robert Taylor, Joel (Adlene) Taylor, Gerald Taylor, Jonelle Taylor, Deidra Taylor, Gloria Mayfield, and the late Donald Taylor, Richard Taylor and Katherine Mayfield. Niece of Louise McGinnis Washington and the late Betty Mae Weatherstrand. Sisters in law of Mabel Lawrence (Otis) Thomas, Lillie Rose Hill, James Lawrence, Sr., Freddie (Margaret) Lawrence, Sr., Leah Watson and the late Louis Robinson, Sr., Delton Mayfield, Sr., Felton Hill, Sr., Ernest Homer, Sr., Noles Lawrence, Jr., and Julia Homer. Cousin of the late Benita Washington Smith. Daughter in law of the late Lillie Mae and Noles Lawrence, Sr., also survived by 5 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Age: 62 years a native of Oakville, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Oakville Missionary Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Oakville Missionary Baptist Church, 100 West Oakville St Oakville, LA on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 11:00AM.
