Rosemary "Mary" Richard was escorted by her angel to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at Kindred Hospital on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at 2:05 p.m. She was a retired Certified Nursing Assistant from Willow Wood Nursing Home. Daughter of the late Andrew Sr. and Rosemary Young Richard. Mother of two angel faces; sister of Mary Rush, Martha Johnson, Nancy, Andrew Jr. and Warren Richard and the late Freddie Richard. Granddaughter of the late Gustave and Celestine Howard Young, Andrew and Mary Louise Jones Richard. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. Age: 59 Years a native and resident of New Orleans, La. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, New Home Full Gospel, New Hope Baptist Church, First Pentecostal Church, Greater Full Gospel, Christ the Savior Baptist Church and all neighboring churches. Employees of the Port of New Orleans, Carriere-Stumm, Catholic Charities, Destined for a Change, Parking Management, Surgarlakes Family Practice, US Army, Ritz Carlton, and the many homeless, disadvantage, and forgotten people she ministered, that roam the streets of Algiers and Metro New Orleans area are invited to attend the Funeral Service from Davis Mortuary Service 230 Monroe St. Gretna, La. on Saturday January 24, 2015 at 9:00a.m Visitation from 8:00a.m. until service time.
