Joseph Duncan Williams, Jr.

Joseph D. Williams, Jr., age 73, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at East Jefferson Hospital in Metairie, LA. He was a native and resident of Ama, LA. Joseph was a retired bus driver with New Orleans Public Service. Loving father of Sherry Williams, Maurice Williams, Sybil Williams, Jody Williams, JaVonna Williams, Kirk Williams, Sr. and the late Maurice Anthony Williams. Father to Sanna and Trazi Johnson. Son of the late Ellastine and Joseph Williams, Sr. Brother of Keith Williams, Floyd Williams, Perry Williams, Bobby Williams, Onieda Williams Chapple, Beverly Williams, Janice Williams Singleton and the late Denise Williams Brown; also survived by 15 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 10867 River Road, Ama, LA on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 11:00a.m. Pastor Kendall Pierre, Sr., officiating Visitation will begin at 10:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
