Betty Mitchell

Betty Mitchell peacefully entered into eternal rest at West Jefferson Medical Center on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at the age of 54. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Bridge City, LA. She was a graduate of L.W. Higgins High School and Delgado Community College. Beloved daughter of the late Horace and Almeta Mitchell. Granddaughter of the late Iren and Freddie Edwards and Ida Hill. Loving sister of Horace Mitchell, Jr., Edward (Judy) Mitchell, John (Rosemary) Mitchell, Bryan (Elaine) Mitchell, Kirk Mitchell, Sherrlyn Ann (Paul Jr.) Mundy and the late Sylvester and Tyrone Mitchell. Godmother of Paul Mundy, IV, Destiney Mundy and Terrance Mitchell; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, 1000 Walkertown Way Marrero, LA on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Thomas J.
