Rayford Simmons, Jr., a retired Mechanic for N.O.P. D., entered into eternal rest on Thursday, January 15, 2015. Husband of 40 years to Jacqueline Simmons. Father of Sidney (Lisa) Isom, III, Richard (Janel) Isom, Jr., Edward (Kijuana) Isom, Sr., Jacquetta Simmons, and Tenika Simmons. Son of Bealuh Simmons and the late Rayford Simmons, Sr. Grandfather of the late Edward Isom, Jr. Brother of Bobby Simmons, Leslie, Christopher, Glen, Lisa and Patrice Simmons, and Linda Thomas and the late Alva Ray Simmons. Uncle of the late Phlinda Calloway. Brother in law of the late Gail Paige, Bernadine Walker, Doris Paige, Veronica Lewis, Lois Page, Juanita Heim, Harold Thomas, Robert Paige, Jr., Stanley Paige, Sr., and Julian Lewis, also survived by 18 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 30 nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 64 years a native of Magnolia, Ms. and a resident of New Orleans, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Hosanna Fellowship Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Hosanna Fellowship Church 400 Weidman St. Gretna, La. on Monday, January, 26, 2015 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Alex J.
