Michael Wayne Harper, Sr., owner of Harper's Lawn Care, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2015. Father of Michael Wayne Harper, Jr. Son of the late Charlie and Pearline Harper. Grandson of the late Ben and Ether Harper and Rufus and Maggie Stevens. Brother of Charlie (Marlene) Harper, Jr., Warren Harper, Kenneth Wayne Harper, Watachulyn (Joseph, Jr.) H. Gilbert, Latonya Q. Harper, and Bobby Million. Best Friend of Elgin Woodside Sr., Troy Monconduit, James Stump, Charles Letrick, Sir Theron Brumfield, and Albert Kelly, also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 47 years a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Avondale, LA. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church 3512 Highway 90, Avondale, LA on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 10:00A.M.
