Donald Alexander, a butcher for Sal's Meat Market, departed his earthly home on Monday, February 2, 2015. He served in the U.S. Army for 3 years. Beloved father of Brandon Dillon. Son of the late Louis and Oretha Alexander. Brother of Gladis (the late Sherman) Rogers, Florence (Henry) Duncan, Edith Mae Diggs (Larry Robertson) and the late Leona Alexander, Ruby Mae Gillian, and Rosemary Phillip, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and a host of other relatives and friend. Age: 64 years a native and a resident of New Orleans, La. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at Davis Mortuary Service 230 Monroe St. Gretna, La. on Monday, February 9, 2015 at 10:00a.m. Rev. Henry Duncan officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named parlor. Interment: New Hope Cemetery-Gretna, La.
