James Larry Pierce

James Larry "Gator" Pierce, a construction worker for Advanced Plumbing, departed this life on Sunday, February 1, 2015. Father of James Pierce, Jr., James "Rabbit" and Sharon Riggins, James and Jerome Boatner, Shirlonda and Latanya Lindsey, Larrynisha, Khalil, Shakhalila Johnson, and Louella Williams. Son of the late Emma Steward and Andrew Pierce. Brother of Warren Pierce, Benjamin Walker, Bobby, Abraham, Robert, Herbert, Joseph, Viola, and Mary Gumms, Lorraine Jordan, and Leona Declouet and the late Shirley Presley, Beatrice Pierce, and Emma Gumms. Companion of 28 years to Shelia Ann Johnson, also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age: 65 years a native and resident of New Orleans, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Fischer Community Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Fischer Community Church 1737 L.B.
