Ronnie Jones, a retired postal worker for United States Post Office, departed this life at West Jefferson Medical Center on Sunday, February 1, 2015 at 1:30p.m. Son of the late Rev. Paul, Sr. and Geneva Reed Jones. Stepson of Alean Briggs Jones. Brother of Jerry (Betty) Jones, Sr., Paul Clair, Patrick (Diane) Jones of Huntsville, Keithen Jones, Dorothy (James) Reed, Ida L. Jackson, Darlene (James) Millsaps, and Paulette (Adolf) Smith. Stepbrother of Wayne (Ann Marie) Briggs, Robert Briggs, and Sharon Goodwin of New York City, also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 61 years a native of New Orleans, La. and resident of Marrero, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Shiloh Baptist Church, Greater Zionfield F WC, Total Armour of God Ministries, The Word Works Ministries, Second Zion Baptist Church and all neighboring churches; employees of West Jefferson Medical Center, JPSHA-Waiver, East Jefferson Hospital, U. S. Postal Service, Shalom Home Care, and West Jefferson Health Care Center are invited to attend the funeral service at Shiloh Baptist Church 1419 4th St. Westwego, La., on Friday, February 13, 2015 at 11:00a.m. Rev. Woodrow Hayden pastor / Rev. Samuel Travis officiating Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named church. Interment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery-Westwego, La.
