Warren Joseph Marrero

Warren Joseph Marrero entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at Ochsner Foundation Hospital. He retired as a longshoreman after 30 years of service and worked for the City of Gretna Water Department for 10 years. Husband of 48 years to Betty Marrero. Father of Kevin Marrero, Sr., Brian Williams, Trine Marrero and the late Dwayne Marrero. Grandfather of Kevon and Kevin Marrero, Jr., Santeena, Kevin, Hunternisha, and Francine Ravy, Kevin, and Joseph Davis. Son of the late August and Naomi Riley Marrero. Uncle of Robin Southall and Byron Southall. Brother in law of Barbara Birdlow, Avis Verrett, Norma Southall, Alvin Birdlow, and Irvin Southall. Devoted cousin of Ruth Riley. Close friend Gill Knight, Louis Youngblood, and Frank Bullett, also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 67 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Gretna, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Sunrise Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Sunrsie Baptist Church 1325 Leboeuf St. Gretna, La. on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 10:00a.m. Rev.
