Edna Nelson Spencer, a retired Lead Direct Support at Magnolia School for over 30 years, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, February 21, 2015. Wife of the late Auzzie Spencer, Sr. Mother of Terrence L. and Auzzie Spencer, Jr. Mother in law of Layskisha and Gwendolyn Spencer. Daughter of the late Joseph A. and Leaster Lovely Nelson. Sister of Joe, Edwin, Melvin, Eddie, Roland, and Norman Spencer, Joann Cloud, Cleaster Nelson Davis, and the late Harry Lee, Lionel, Gilbert, and Shirley Nelson, also survived by 3 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. Age: 65 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Westwego, La. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, La. on Friday, February 27, 2015 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
