Lillie Mae Lewis Smith entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at Ochsner Medical Center Westbank. Beloved wife of Dan Smith, Jr. Mother of Ray Smith, Roy Smith, Troy Picard, Anna Frazier, Linda Oubichon, Donna Watkins, and the late Dan Smith, III and Don Smith. Daughter of the late Lemis Louis, Sr. and Mary Steward Lewis. Granddaughter of the late Thomas Steward and Mythia (Moran) Steward. Sister of Shirley L. Johnson and the late Manuel Lewis and Felton Lewis, also survived by 15 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age: 84 years a native and resident of New Orleans, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, Fischer Community Church, Worldwide Apostolic, Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, Reflection of Christ's Kingdom and neighboring churches; members of Arthur Monday Senior Center and Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. are invited to attend the funeral service at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church 1249 LeBoeuf St. New Orleans, La. on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 10:00a.m. Rev. Dudley Watson officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. at the above named church.
