Loretta Thomas Williams, a retired LPN at West Jefferson Medical Center, entered into eternal rest at her residence on Wednesday, March 4, 2015. Wife of the late Harry Williams, Sr. Mother of Harry Williams, Jr., Cheryl (Leroy) Coleman, Donna Lynn Williams, Karen (James) Burras, Lori Ann Joseph and the late Wanda Jean Stipes and Janet Marie Hatcher. Daughter of the late Mitchell Thomas and Ella Mae Banks. Stepdaughter of the late Roland Banks. Granddaughter of the late Anderson and Ora Young. Sister of Leroy Banks, Edward J. (Elaine) Banks, Lionel (Evelyn) Banks, Debra A. (Lorenza) Bedgood and the late Isaiah, Noland, and Roland Banks and Jacquelyn B. Vincent. Daughter in law of the late Daniel and Manola Williams. Mother in law of Murphy Stipe, Jr. and Lawrence Hatcher. Sister in law of Mary (Winston) Whitten, Georgia (Clyde) Hill and the late Herbert, Daniel, Moses, and Lionel Williams. Godmother of Lisa Prout, also survived by 28 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 77 years a native of Thibodaux, La. and a resident of Marrero, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Greater Mt. Calvary Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Greater Mt. Calvary Church 1600 Westwood Dr. Marrero, La. on Saturday, March 14, 205 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Terry Gullage officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. at the above named church.
