Al Douglas Alford departed this life at his residence on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at the age of 38. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. Al was employed as a deckhand with Archer Daniels Midland Company. Husband of Chevelle Youngblood Alford. Father of De'Andre Jones and Jared Stevenson. Son of Debbie Ann Fleming and the late Albert Alford. Stepson of the late Bernard Fleming, Sr. Grandson of the late Jeannette and James Pierre and Charlie Coleman, Sr. Brother of Bernard Fleming, Jr., Enos Miller, Ernest Miller, Unjelle Alford, Zomora Alford, Nadia Miller and Daisy Miller; also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Fischer Community Church and all neighboring churches; employees of Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM) are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Fischer Community Church, 1737 L.
