Mary Carter Green, age 85, heard the voice of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ calling her to come home and be at rest on Sunday, March 8, 2015. She was a native of Magnolia Ms. and a resident of Marrero, La. Wife of the late Willie Lee Green. Loving, devoted and caring mother of James Edward Green, Frank Dennis Green, Kenneth Lloyd (Troylynn) Green, Linda Marie (John) Swan, Geneva Green, Clementine G. Coleman, Willie Claudette G. Jones, Mary Lorraine (Charles) Gibson, and the late Bernard Green , Sr. and Donald Green, Sr. Mother in law of Annie B. Green. Daughter of the late Henderson and Estella Norman, Carter, Sr. Grandmother of the late Christian Gibson. Great grandmother of the late Jeremy K. Green. Sister of John L. (Deandria) Carter, Sr. L E (Betty) Carter, Sr., Ernest (Addie Joyce) Carter, Gladys (Charlie) Taylor, Stella C. L. (Melvin) Holmes, Velma (Owen) Royal, and the late Henderson Carter, Sr., Willie Carter, Sr., James Carter, and J. Lee Carter. Devoted family Friend of: Pamela Green, Debra Smith, Sonji Warner, Henry Mokosso, Glenn Coleman Sr., H.P. White, and Donald R. Jones, also survived by 31 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Charlie R. Davis, Officiating. Viewing of remains will begin at 8:00a.m. Immediately following, a service will be held at Sherman Line Baptist Church 2013 Sherman Line Road P. O. Box 568 Magnolia, Mississippi at 2:30 pm. Rev. Alphones Patterson, host Pastor; Dr. Larry D. Lenoir, Pastor of the First Baptist Church Monticello, Mississippi will be officiating.
