Virginia Stewart entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at West Jefferson Medical Center. Mother of Kevin (Barbara) Stewart. Grandmother of Kevinesha Stewart. Great grandmother of Ivory Caliste, Jr. and Kourtnie Desalle. Daughter of the late Sullivan, Sr. and Victoria Stewart. Sister of Victoria Howard, Audrey Stewart, Norma Price, Winnie Corey, Rose Mary Martin, Iris Boudoin, Eugenia Rogers, Sullivan (Marion) Stewart, and the late Charles, Richard, James, and Joseph Stewart, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age: 78 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Bridge City, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Rock of Ages Baptist Church, Jehovah Kingdom Hall, and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Rock of Ages Baptist Church 6533 Acre Rd. Marrero, La. on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 10:00a.m. Rev. Gilbert Barnes officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
