Lula Mae Green Peterson went to her heavenly resting place on Monday, April 6, 2015. Daughter of the late Sam and Gertrude Green. Loving mother of Elder Lavera Patterson, Valerie (Albert) Smith and the late Betty Ross and Coralynn Owens. Grandmother of Shelanta Joseph, Remonda Edmond, Edward (Raquel) Patterson, Jr., LaMar (Charmaine) Patterson, Sr., Regique (Steven) Cain, and Cortez Smith. Great grandmother of Wynton Joseph, Ross Joseph, Karmell Joseph, Rhea Edmond, Derek Edmond, Kareem Cain, Cambryn Cain, Lamar Patterson, Jr., Lalia Patterson, Monet Patterson, Mia Patterson, Mya Patterson, Micah Patterson, and Brandon Jenkins. Sister of the late Ida L. Pride, also survived by a host of great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age: 89 years a native of Franklin, La. and a resident of Cedar Hill, Tx. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, New Home Family Worship Center, Prayer Warriors For Christ, Inc., Second Good Hope Baptist Church, Evening Star B.C., Regular B.C., Mt. Zion B.C., St. Peter the Apostle Full Bible Church, First Free Mission B.C., and neighboring churches; employees of Metairie Bank & Trust Company are invited to attend the funeral service at Shiloh Baptist Church 723 Magellan St. Gretna, La. on Monday, April 13, 2015 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Larry Davis officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
