Helen Clayborne Westerfield

Helen Elouise Westerfield, age 83, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at her residence. She was a native of Preston, MS and a resident of Westwego, LA. Beloved wife of the late Lois Westerfield. Loving mother of James (Cherylann) Westerfield, Ricky (Tammy) Westerfield, Jimmy (Janice) Westerfield, Wanda Westerfield, Olivia (Wilbert) Mitchell and the late Thesselonian Westerfield, Dr. Louis (Gelounder) Westerfield, Sr. and Joe Ann (Marvin) Davis. Great grandmother of the late Nikiayh Westerfield. Daughter of the late Bud Clayborne and Annie Clayborne. Sister of Ross (Shena) Clayborne, and the late Wilson (Lucy) Clayborne, James Arthur (Sharon) Clayborne and Ruth (Arthur) Rush; also survived by 18 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Watson Memorial Teaching Ministries and all neighboring churches are invited attend the Funeral Service at Watson Memorial Teaching Ministries, 1709 Casa Calvo St., New Orleans, LA on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church.
