Agatha Dumas Alcindor

Agatha Marie Dumas-Alcindor, age 68, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 12, 2015 in North Little Rock, AR. She was a native of Vacherie, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Mrs. Alcindor was a graduate of Lincoln High School, Job Corp of St. Petersburg, FL and Delgado Community College. She was employed with the Jefferson Parish School System at Helen Cox High School. Devoted and loving mother of twin sons Ehren and Errol Alcindor. Daughter of the late Marie Jeffery and Marie Odette Dumas. Sister of Marie Annette Dumas (the late Charles) Talford, Regina Dumas (Melvin) Walker, Martin (Lenora) Dumas, Gregory (Helen) Dumas, Thomas Dumas, Bernadette Dumas-Butler and the late Paul, Marcel, and John(surviving and devoted wife Rhonda) Dumas; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches; employees of Jefferson Parish School System, and faculty, staff and students of Helen Cox High School are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, 1000 Walkertown Way, Marrero, LA on Friday, April 17, 2015 at 10:00a.m Pastor Thomas J.
