Gretel Campbell Riggins

Gretel Deion Riggins departed this life at West Jefferson Medical Center on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at the age of 54. She was employed as a Security Guard with Kinder Morgan. Gretel was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Terrytown, LA. Loving wife of Mitchell Riggins, Sr. Devoted mother of Yuntalaa R. (Terrance) Shorty, Michelle Riggins and Mitchell Riggins. Grandmother of Yasir T. Shorty, Tierra R. Shorty and Tariq J. Shorty. Daughter of the late Archie Campbell, Sr. and Augusta Holmes Campbell. Granddaughter of the late Walker Holmes, Sr. and Cora Holmes. Sister of Archie Campbell, Jr., Larry Campbell, Danny Campbell, Sr., I'rlondria McCormick, Sharon (Gary, Sr.) Payton, Daria (James) Clofer and the late Louis, James Ray and Delbert Campbell, Sr.; also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Loving Faith Baptist Church and neighboring churches; employees of Kinder Morgan are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Loving Faith Baptist Church, 45 5th St. Gretna, LA on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 10:00a.m. Pastor David Davis, officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
