Samuel Robertson

Samuel Robertson, age 74, departed this life at his residence on Thursday, April 16, 2015. He was a native of Ironton, La. and a resident of New Orleans, La. He was employed at Brown & Root for twenty-one years and worked for Gary Attardo before retiring. Beloved husband of 51 years to Eliza Ross Robertson. Father of Giselle Robertson (Newton) Thomas, Catrice Robertson (Keith) Winesberry, and Sedric (Jesse) Robertson. Grandfather of Jarret, Michael, Alexis, Jeremiah, Savannah, and River. Son of the late Charles Robertson and Lillian Johnson. Grandson of the late Charles and Violet Robertson, also he leaves Donald Barge who was like a son, 2 devoted friend Gary Attardo and George Thompson and survived by 6 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of St. Paul Baptist Church, Second Baptist, Second Nazarene, Asbury UMC, and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at St. Paul Baptist Church 133 Bradish St. Ironton, La. on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church Interment: Westlawn Cemetery-Gretna, La.
