Homer Robinson, Jr.

Homer Robinson, Jr., age 64, a retired educator of the Orleans Parish Public School System, departed this life on Sunday, April 19, 2015 at Kindred Hospital. He was a native and lifelong resident of New Orleans, LA. Mr. Robinson was a graduate of L. B. Landry High School and Southern University of Baton Rouge, LA. Loving father of Keisha Robinson (Ankoma) Taplet. Devoted grandfather of Khalfani and Aysia Taplet. Son of the late Homer and Mattie Washington Robinson. Brother of Catherine Robinson (William) Peters, Walter, Samuel, Jackie and Tommy Robinson; also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Life Center Cathedral and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Homegoing Service commemorating his life at Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 10:00a.m. Bishop J.
