George Richardson

George Richardson, age 90, entered into eternal rest at his residence on Tuesday, April 28, 2015. He was a native of Newellton, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. George was employed in numerous occupations during his life time which include 25 years with Avondale Shipyard, 10 years with the Animal Shelter, several years as a security guard, and his final years were spent as a self employed gardener. Beloved husband of Mary Richardson. Loving father of Catina, Anna, Darlene, Eugene, Rose, Herman, Michael, Gloria, Claude, Kim, George, Hattie, Joe, and Walter. Son of the late Joe Richardson and Hattie Warfield; also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Faith Presbyterian Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Faith Presbyterian Church, 2525 Apollo Ave. Harvey, LA on Friday, May 8, 2015 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
