Pastor Kenneth Green, Sr. was called to eternal rest by God, while doing what he loved best, preaching God's word to his congregation on Sunday, May 3, 2015. He was the faithful and dedicated pastor of Greater St. Mary Baptist Church of Algiers, LA. Pastor Green was a native of Algiers, LA and a resident of Laplace, LA. Loving husband of Ava Mallory Green. Wonderful father of Brittni (Donald) Parker, Kenneth (Evelyn) Green, Jr. and Jeleah Green. Beloved son of Lola Bruce and the late Joe Bruce. Brother of Joel, Steven, and Darren (Pamela) Green. Godfather of Davone Richard; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Greater St. Mary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches; L.B.
