Shantell Paynes entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Ochsner Foundation Hospital. Beloved daughter of Rebecca Paynes Hammond. Loving granddaughter of Ida Mae Paynes. Sister of Miguel Paynes, Rachelle Hammond and the late Tarrell "Tanya" Lynn Paynes; also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age: 39 years, a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA.
