Mary Agnes Luberta Stroder Martin departed this life on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at the ge of 69. She was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Mary was a graduate of Carver Senior High and a retired employee of HANO. Loving mother of Leslie Martin, Tracy M. Lewis, Joy Rankin, Patrick Martin, Jaret (Edmond) Bocage and the late Laurel Duncan. Grandmother of the late Peter Martin. Daughter of the late James A. Stroder, Sr. and Louise Darby Stroder. Granddaughter of the late George Darby, Sr. and Luberta Darby. Sister of James Stroder, Jr. and the late Elaine Stroder and Lee Ivory Venible. Former wife of the late Lloyd Martin, Sr.; also survived by 7 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Greater New Home Missionary Baptist Church, Second Baptist Church and all neighboring churches; members of Rising Sun Baptist Association; employees of HANO and UMCMC Hop Clinic are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Greater New Home Missionary Baptist Church, 1735 Delery St., New Orleans, LA on Friday, May 15, 2015 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
