James Earl Turner

James Earl Turner, a retired truck driver, departed this life on Monday, May 25, 2015. He was employed for Weebar Brokerage, Inc. and owner of J. T. Trucking for over 24 years. Devoted and loving husband of Marguerite Green Turner and former husband of the late Argie Turner. Father of the late Shelley Ann Bowers. Son of the late Johnnie "Man" Turner and Lula Mae Turner. Brother of Cleo (Clifton) Allen, Ruthla (Melvin) Hudson, Sherry Turner Jupiter, Thomas (Nelda) Turner, Johnnie (Dianne) Turner, Charles(Joan) Turner, Tyrone Turner, and the late Jimmie Turner, and Clifton Turner, also survived by 7 sons, 4 daughters, 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age: 75 years a native of Magnolia, Ms. and a resident of New Orleans, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Mt. Kingdom Missionary Baptist Church, Shermanline Missionary Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the wake service at Mt. Kingdom Missionary Baptist Church 3756 Louisa St. New Orleans, La. on Friday, May 29, 2015 at 7:00p.m. Viewing will be held from 5:00p.m. until 7:00p.m. Funeral service will be held at Shermanline Missionary Baptist Church 2031 Sherman Church Rd. Magnolia, Ms. on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 11:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 10:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
