Magnolia Roussell

Magnolia Garrison Roussell, age 79, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 25, 2015 at her residence. She was a native of Lemonville, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Magnolia was a former employee of Charity and Touro Hospitals. Beloved wife of the late August Roussell. Loving mother of Joyce Roussell-Ero, Adrienne L. Roussell, Kevin Roussell, Sr. and Keith (Gwendolyn) Roussell. Daughter of the late Lawrence Garrison and Magnolia Robertson Garrison. Granddaughter of the late Morris Robertson, Eliza Jones Robertson, Ambrose and Louise Garrison. Sister of Ambrose (Gwendolyn) Garrison, Mary Alice Garrison (Floyd) Miles and the late Herman Garrison; also survived by 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of New Zion Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at New Zion Baptist Church, 1131 Garden Rd. Marrero, LA on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Austin Dennis, officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
