Carol Jean Boatner, a security officer, entered into eternal rest on Saturday May 30, 2015 at Ochsner Medical Center Westbank. Wife of Andrew Boatner. Mother o f Shaun Davis, Saundra Mason, Windy Mason, Amber Mason Merricks, and Adam Hyams. Stepmother of Andrew Boatner, Jr. Daughter of Joyce Davis and the late Jessie Davis. Sister of Jessie Davis and Roslyn Veal. Former companion of the late Willie Mason and Robert Hyams, also survived by 4 grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age: 50 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Gretna, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of True Vine Baptist Church and neighboring churches. Employees of Jefferson Parish Headstart, Alere Toxicology, Natchez Steamboat Family, Ochsner Westbank and Ochsner Main Campus ICU & 3rd floor staff are invited to attend the funeral service at True Vine Baptist Church 249 Sala Ave. Westwego, La. on Saturday June 6, 2015 at 10:00a.m. Rev.
