Robert Louis Love, Jr. departed this life on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at the age of 65. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. Robert was a retired employee of the U. S. Postal Service and served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps Reserve. Loving father of Robert Louis Love, III and Robinette L'Oreal Love. Stepfather of Mayo K., Kimberly I. and Cheyenne L. Bridgewater. Grandfather of Shakur Talid Muhammad. Son of the late Robert Louis Love, Sr. and Helen Mary Jackson-Love. Brother of Donald, Bryant, Eddie, Christopher, Sandra, Gilda, Cindy and Delores Love, Ella Sanders, Pamela Love-Eaglin, and the late Irastine Gail Keith and Belinda Ann Love. Uncle of the late Wayne Calvin Sanders, Jr., Solomon S. Sanders and Sgt. Chase Henry Love; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the parlor.
