Mildred H. Richard, a retired Jefferson Parish Social Worker, transitioned from earth to glory at Ochsner Medical Center Kenner on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 6:15p.m. Mother of Charles Moore, Cynthia Day, Cheryl (Paul) Eason, and the late Dwayne Moore and Glen Moore. Grandmother of the late Charles Moore, Jr. Daughter of the late Marcel Lowery and Lucille Lewis. Stepdaughter of the late Wesley Lewis. Sister of Delores Dillard, also survived by 4 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 80 years a native of Plaquemines, La. and a resident of Marrero, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of St. Mark Baptist Church, Greater St. Stephens Full Gospel B.C., and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at St. Mark Baptist Church 1929 Huey P. Long Ave. Gretna, La. on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 10:00a.m. Rev. Joseph L. Hampton, Sr. officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
