Joseph Veal, Jr.

Joseph "Jelly" "Papa" Veal, Jr. entered into eternal rest at Canon Hospice on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at the age 85. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Bridge City, LA. Beloved husband of Mattie B. Veal by second marriage and the late Mamie B. Veal by first marriage. Loving father of Joseph (Patricia), Micheal (Willa), Robert (Shelia), and Willie Veal, Betty (Hebert) Johnson, Linda Veal and the late Lillie Ann Veal. Stepfather of Jerry (Elaine), Larry and Alton Brock. Son of the late Joseph, Sr. and Angell M. Veal. Preceded in death by 2 grandchildren; also survived by 2 Godchildren and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
