Obadiah Stephenson, Sr.

Obadiah Stephenson, Sr., a retired Taxi Cab Driver, departed his life at Ochsner Medical Center Westbank on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at the age of 80. He was a native of Stafford, TX and a resident of New Orleans, LA. Obadiah served his country as a member of the United States Air Force and received the National Defense Service Medal. Beloved husband of Shirley Stephenson. Loving father of Angela, Stephanie, Reginald, Obadiah, Jr., Gregory, Ainka, Michael, and Clarence Stephenson. Son of the late Betty D. Lee Browning Stephenson and James Stephenson, Sr. Brother of James "Big Shot" Stephenson, Jr.; also survived by 15 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
