Arthur "Art" Lee Veal departed this life at University Hospital on Friday, July 17, 2015 at 10:26a.m. Beloved son of James and Anna Hawkins Veal. Loving father of Ariane Nicholas of Houston, Tx. and Latasha Nicholas. Brother of Ivy Lee, James Veal, Jr., Michael Veal, and the late Garry Veal, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age: 56 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Avondale, La. Relatives and friends of the family also members of Luling Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, La. on Friday, July 24, 2015 at 10:00a.m. Brother Theodore Smith officiating Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until 10:00a.m. Only.
