Alfred Leo Bodden, a retired contractor, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, July 26, 2015 at Touro Infirmary Hospital in New Orleans, La. Father of Carol (Byron, Jr.) James and the late Louis B. Riley. Son of the late Muriel Brooks and Samuel Bodden. Brother of Loyd Brooks, Ola Sargent, Cyrena Rich and the late Richard Bodden and Sarah Allen and Grace Brooks. Former husband of the late Judith Bodden. Godfather of Ketell Marson, Jr. and Gloria Tewari. Former father in law of Pennie Riley, also survived by 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age: 84 years a native of LaCeiba, Honduras and a resident of New Orleans, La. Relatives and friends of the family, also priest and parishioners of St. Luke Episcopal Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at St. Luke Episcopal Church 1222 N. Dorgenois St. New Orleans, La. on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at 10:00a.m. Father Edward Thompson Celebrant Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
