Violet Stewart

Violet "Viola" Stewart, age 85, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Canon Hospice. She was a native of Roseland, LA and a resident of New Orleans, LA. Beloved wife of the late Victor Stewart. Loving mother of Bobby Joe Leonard, Irene Martin, Donald Ray Leonard, Isabell Gaines, Lavell Doughty and the late Geraldine Leonard. Daughter of the late Peter and Jannie Caffery. Eldest sister of Irene Ginn, Geraldine Ruffin, Milton Caffery and the late Peter Caffery, Jr.; also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren that reside in cities including Atlanta, Houston, Detroit, New Orleans, and Washington, DC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
