Lynn Armand Major departed this life on Sunday, July 26, 2015 at the age of 65. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Loving mother of Venessa Major (Raymond) Patin. Devoted grandmother of Raven Maria Patin. Daughter of Gladys Johnson Armand and the late James K. Armand, Sr. Sister of Angela (Warren) Sylvas and Gwynn A. Jackson; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also priest and parishioners of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church and neighboring churches; members of Knight of Peter Claver Ladies Auxiliary Count #36; employees of the Office of Family Support, Touro Infirmary, DaVita Dialysis, Inc., Wal-Mart Store #2706 and West Jefferson Medical Center are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 455 Ames Blvd. Marrero, LA on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at 10:00a.m. Father Eugene F.
