Simon "Hamp" "Taylor" Taylor, Jr. entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at the age of 73. He was a native of Bogalusa, LA and a longtime resident of Algiers, LA. Beloved husband of Eula Mae Miller Taylor. Loving father of Karla and Travis Taylor, Sr., and the late Kilan Taylor. Grandfather of Tanisha, Kimberly and Kayla Taylor, Keenan Batiste, Kiemond and Kilan Williams. Great-grandfather of Ra'Jaeh Green, MyKyra Walker, Jaelyn and Travis Taylor, Jr. Son of the late Mae Bell Brumfield (Roscoe) Kidd and Simon Taylor, Sr. Brother of Pollena T. Dean, Mary T. McGee and the late Rev. Leroy Taylor and Henry Dunbar. Son-in-law of the late Edward and Hilda Davis Miller. Brother-in-law of Rev. Edward, Jr. (Sarah) and Dianne Miller, Hilda Ford, Georgia M. Henderson, Joyce Taylor and the late Marvin, Reggie, Sr. and Larry Miller, Sr.; also survived by his caregiver Kevin Flynn and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Fischer Community Church, Greater Providence Baptist Church, Second Baptist Church, Ecclesia Family Church and all neighboring churches; employees of Ernest N.
