Ophelia Veal

Ophelia Veal departed this life on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital. She was native of Batchelor, LA, a former resident of Marrero, LA and presently residing in Baton Rouge, LA. Ophelia graduated from Lincoln High School and continued her education earning a degree as a LPN. Mother of Bert Lancaster Parker, Demetrius Parker and Sean Parker. Daughter of the late Howard Veal, Sr. and Sarah Dennis Veal. Sister of Alphonse, Charley, Rufus and Deanza Veal, Mary Stipe and the late Clarence, Howard, Jr. and Leroy Veal; also survived by 4 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
