Marie Ella Franklin Robins entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 3, 2015 at her residence. Wife of the late Wilmer "Sonny Boy" Robins, Sr. Beloved mother of Carol (Leonard) Parker, Linda (Jerome) Ruffin, and Wilmer (Desiree) Robins, Jr. Daughter of the late Camille and Rachel Franklin. Sister of George (Gloriadean) Franklin, Orinton Pearly, Alberta Franklin (Spergeon) Holley, Elizabeth Bell Chavis and the late Charles Franklin and James Pearly. Grandmother of Akera Ruffin, Camesha Ruffin, Javon Ruffin Sierra, Nicole Robins, Najee Robins, and Renee Robins and the late Shontel Claiborne (Donald) Williams. Daughter in law of the late Irena Jones Robins. Sister in law of Mabel (Ernest) Wright also survived by a host of great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. Age: 92 years a native of Belle Rose, La. and a resident of Harvey, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of New Jerusalem Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited the funeral service at New Jerusalem Baptist Church 414 Westwego Ave. Bridge City, La. on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 10:00a.m. Rev. George Davis, Sr. officiating Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named church. Interment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery-Westwego, La.
