Lenora "LADY BLUE" Ann Wilson-Cole peacefully entered into eternal rest at her residence on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at the age of 80. She was a native of Dumas, AR and a resident of Marrero, LA. Lenora was employed as an elementary school teacher with the Jefferson Parish School System for 38 years, retiring in 1997, ending a legacy as an exceptional educator. Beloved wife of the late Melvin H. Cole, Sr. Loving mother of Melvin Harold Cole, Jr., Monica Cole and the late Gaynell Yvonne Cole. Grandmother of Demetrius Cole, Prentice Melvin Spurlock, III, De'Ante Cole and Tiffany Cole. Great grandmother of Demetrius Cole, Jr. Daughter of the late Evonia and Jessie Wilson, Sr. Sister of the late Jessie Wilson, Jr. Mother-in-law of Elizabeth Cole; also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also priest and parishioners of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church and neighboring churches; members of Elks, Knights of Peter Claver Ladies Auxiliary, Thursday Night Crew, and Ladies with Pride are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 455 Ames Blvd. Marrero, LA on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at 10:00a.m. Father Eugene Jacques, celebrant Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
