Paul Langston Hughes departed this life on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at the age of 56. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Terrytown, LA. Husband of Vicky Ellis-Hughes. Father of Justin (Marva) Hughes, and Jeremy (Susan) Hughes. Stepfather of Jordan Sanchez and Da'Klan Randolph. Grandfather of Jayana, Jayden, Jayda and Justin Hughes, Jr. Beloved son of Rosemary Lee Hughes and the late Rev. Joseph Hughes, Jr. Brother of Rosella (Edsell) Brown, Sherlyn Hughes, Macqueline (Rev. David) Richard, Joann (Jahmal) Tillman and the late Elnora and Francilla Hughes; also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Second Baptist Church, Bibleway Missionary Baptist Church and neighboring churches; employees of Supervisor of Shipbuilding Gulf Coast are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Second Baptist Church, 2836 Sullen Pl., New Orleans, LA on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 10:00a.m. Rev.
