Walter Allen Williams departed this life suddenly on Saturday, August 22, 2015. Beloved son of the late Walter and Selina Williams. Loving brother of Betty Sparks, Ruth Shipp, Naomi (Norah) Harris, Waltereen Simmons, Carolyn (Brandon, Sr.) Hawkins, and Patricia (Mark, Sr.) Parrish; also survived by 10 nieces and nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age: 66 years, a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of St Matthew United Methodist Church, Asbury United Methodist Church, St. Stephens M.B.C., and all neighboring churches; members of L. B. Landry High School Class of 1966; employees of Elementary School District 159 of Matteson, IL, Navy Exchange, DECA Commissary at NAS Belle Chase, LA, Fairgrounds O.T.B., Gretna, LA, Veterans Administration Homebound Nurses, Mental Health Intensive care Management Team and Beacon Behavioral Outpatient of Metairie, LA are invited to attend the Funeral Service at St. Matthew United Methodist Church, 1100 Verret St., Algiers, LA on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 10:00a.m. Rev.
