Joseph "Penonche" Anderson, Jr. departed this life on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at the age of 67. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Algiers, LA. Joseph was Retired Truck Driver and Concrete Mason. Husband of Gwendolyn Anderson. Father of Joseph (Rashunda) Anderson, III. Stepfather of Dionne (David) Rainge, Marlo and Tomko Hills. Grandfather of Tevin and Perionne Anderson, Isaiah William, Landon Cockerham, Alea Cockerham, Jeriyon Macklin, Malcolm Alexis and Anthony Channey. Son of the late Joseph Anderson, Sr. and Elizabeth Camese Dunlap Henry. Brother of Lillie Anderson William of Baton Rouge, LA. Stepbrother of Clarence (Annette) Henry, Jr., Darlene Henry and Clarliss (Craig) Sims. Devoted uncle of Derrick Byes. Godfather of Carlos Brown, Yashika Byes and Washington Alexander. Best friend of Webster Felix Feliciana; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
