Edward Jones, Jr. departed this life on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at the Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice in River Ridge, LA. Beloved husband of 57 years to the late Ethel Hills Jones. Loving father of Lisa Ann (Daniel) McDonald, Richard, Keith Ray, Gerald Jermone and Kendall Jones all of Marrero, LA, Michael Anthony (Nicole) Jones of Durham, NC and the late Edward Gregory (Sharon) and Patrick Troy Jones. Son of the late Edward, Sr. and Nola Jones. Brother of Wilbert, Joseph and Rebecca Jones, Dorothy Wright and Delores Williams. Nephew of Matilda Hooper. Brother-in-law of Frank Jones, Ronald (Ann) Hill, Irene Hill, Geraldine Smith and Lillie Arlene; also survived by 21 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age: 80 years, a native of Lions, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA Relatives and friends of the family, also priest and parishioners of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend a Mass of Christina Burial at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 455 Ames Blvd. Marrero, LA on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 10:00a.m. Father Eugene F.
