Lillie Bell Hudson-Johnson at the age 70, passed away peacefully and received her heavenly crown on Thursday, September 3, 2015. She was a native of New Orleans, La. and a former resident of Marrero, La. and for 34 years a resident of Avondale, La. Lillie graduated from Lincoln High School Class of 1963 and attended New Orleans Vocational Tech where she earned her nursing degree in 1972. Mother of Gannon Johnson and Ivan Johnson (Kathy Francois) of Avondale, La. Grandmother of Mariah "Raih" Molden, Kristen "Tookey" Molden, Genaye Porch of Hammond, La., Jabreel Porch, Jabari Porch of Adberdeen , Md., Diamond, and John "Duke" Weber. Former wife of Alvin Johnson. Daughter of the late Willie Hudson and Mariah Duckett-Hudson. Sister of the late Donald Joe Hudson. Godmother of the late Jeffery Duckett. Dear friend and cousin Horace Duckett , also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Progressive Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Progressive Church 437 Cohen St. Marrero, La. on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 10:00.m.
