Harry Williams, Sr., age 81, a Machinist for Southern Snow, entered into eternal rest at Ochsner Foundation Hospital on Friday, September 18, 2015 at 3:55p.m. He was a native of Vacherie, La. and a resident of Harvey, La. and attended Magnolia High School. Harry held the position of Worship Master for 8 years with the Pride of Algiers Lodge No. 102 F. & A. M. P. H. A. Husband of the late Anna Mae Stewart Williams. Father of Harry Williams, Jr., Valerie Landry, Howard Williams, Karen Williams Wilford, and the late Bernard and Kenneth Williams. Grandfather of the late Taneal Williams and Joseph Riley. Great grandfather of the late Khaleel, Neil, and Harmony Williams and Jaron Riley. Son of the late Alex and Pressie Williams, Sr. Brother of Rose Holland and the late Larry, Albert, Royal, Sr., Edward, Sr., Alex, Jr., Marion, and Lorenza Williams , Bernice Russell, Gustavia Stewart, and Calena Lemar. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, officers, and members of New Zion B.C., Progressive B.C., Life Center Cathedral, Dominion and Power Ministries and neighboring churches; employees of Jefferson Parish School System are invited to attend the funeral service at New Zion Baptist Church 1131 Garden Rd. Marrero, La. on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 10:00a.m. Rev. Austin Dennis officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
